Tanks For The memories - MilBlog Conference Update

My good friend Elizabeth Newberry who is in charge of membership and marketing with The National Museum of Americans in Wartime sends this missive for all Milblog Conference Attendees:

The NMAW is hosting an event for all Milblog Conference attendees on April 26th from 9:00am - 11:00am at the "Tank Farm" in Nokesville, VA.

This event will give you the opportunity to view one of the world's largest collections of fully operational military vehicles. Many of these vehicles will one day call the National Museum of Americans in Wartime home.

There will be a drawing at 9:30am on the 26th and a lucky few will win the chance to drive one of the armored vehicles. You must have sent your RSVP by April 25th and have a valid driver's license to enter for a chance to win.

NMAW will be providing beverages at the event, but there will be no food served.

If you know of anyone that would like to attend please tell them to RSVP with their name, email and number of people attending to tanktour@nmaw.org Once they have sent their RSVP their name will be entered in the drawing and they will be sent an email including details and directions for the day of the event.

In order to get the most accurate head count we do ask that all who intend on coming to the "Tank Farm" RSVP.
